RxStation™Pharmacy Workflow
|
Task Manager
The Task Manager is an application that allows pharmacy users to maintain the RxStations. Information and activities concerning refills, discrepancies, returns, inventory stocking and expired items can be accessed using Task Manager.
RxStation Pharmacy Users
Users with pharmacy privileges employ use RxStation to view information for RxStation clusters and perform tasks, such as scheduled tasks, ad hoc refills, expiration management, emptying return bins, and managing ad hoc patients.
Scheduled Tasks
RxStation provides tools for loading, unloading, refilling, and swapping drugs.
Ad Hoc Refill
RxStation allows pharmacy users to perform refills as needed.
Expiration Management
RxStation's Task Based Replenishment (TBR) lets pharmacy users manually or automatically evaluate the inventory in the RxStation.
TBR checks item expiration dates and updates the system's known expiration date. Inventory evaluation can be set up to be performed automatically at various times on individual stations or by grouping stations together. Once the inventory has been evaluated in the RxStation, the system gives you a list of inventory for replenishment. Once the stations are replenished, the inventory is automatically decremented from the filling location and incremented at each station.
Empty Return Compartment
RxStation provides pharmacy users with inventory management information so the return compartment can be emptied of any items returned by the nurse.
