Refilling an RxStation Device

 

 

 

   

 

See the Finding and Completing Scheduled Refills topic if a Task List of Scheduled Refills has not been assembled.

To refill an RxStation device, complete the following steps:

 

  1. Click Begin to start the Task List of scheduled refills.

  2. Click on a task from the Selected menu to bring up a numeric keypad for that task.

  3. Select the Count before loading box and enter the quantity of medication in the compartment before loading. Use the numeric keypad to enter numbers.

  4. Select the Quantity loading box and enter the quantity of medication placed in the compartment.

  5. Enter the expiration date for the medication. Select the month, day, and year. Use the numeric keypad to enter the correct numbers.

  6. Click Save and Next. RxStation  brings up the next medication on the Scheduled Refill Task List. Repeat steps 2 through 5 until all scheduled refills are completed.

  7. Click Cancel to stop the refill task and exit from task processing.

 

 

 

 

 

ALERT: If a compartment with items is open, you must perform a count before exiting.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  1. The Stop Task screen is displayed. You must select Stop to confirm the Cancel action and stop task processing.

  2. The Available Actions screen is displayed.
